{A Fall Senior Session at the Cottonwood Trail | Humboldt, IA}

I can’t quite believe it, but this is my second to last senior session of 2023! Where did time go!? Avery’s senior portraits took place in Humboldt during a beautiful fall afternoon. The temps dropped and the wind picked up right before her session day which caused most of the fall foliage to fall, so finding color was a little tricky. Luckily the Cottonwood Trail still had some beautiful foliage to be found! Our first stop was Avery’s grandma’s house at Oak Lake where Avery spends much of her summer days. It was a must to get a few shots by the lake! Her session day was chilly but she braved the cold in her really cute white summer dress for a few quick shots. Avery is my last TEAM 24 model to have her full individual session and it’s been such a pleasure photographing this sweet girl throughout the year!

Avery, a 2024 senior from Humboldt High School, loves reading, playing volleyball, and doing anything with her friends. During her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball and baking. In school, she keeps herself busy playing volleyball and being involved in the yearbook. After high school she plans to attend Iowa Central Community College to study psychology and play volleyball.

Avery – As you complete your high school journey, think of it being just the beginning of a new and exciting chapter in your life. As you move forward, be proud of your accomplishments so far and remember that you have the potential to make a positive impact on the world. Your dreams and aspirations ARE within reach, and your journey is so unique and special. I have loved getting to know you more this year and watching you shine in front of my camera! I hope you make your mark and leave a legacy both on and off the court!
