{An Iowa Fall Engagement Session at Water’s Edge Nature Center}

I booked with Kylie and Justin at the beginning of the year and I finally got to meet them in real life last week! They are the sweetest couple! They are down to earth, easy to talk to, fun to be around and you can just tell that they are so excited to start their new life together!! Not only did I get to know the two of them, but I also spent a little time with their fur baby, Luna. Luna is honestly one of the most well-behaved dogs I’ve ever worked with and it was so easy including her in their session. Plus, it was the first time I was able to congratulate them in person on Kylie’s pregnancy! In addition to beginning their lives together in marriage, they are also on their way into parenthood! These two are expecting a baby girl next March and I can’t wait to meet her on the wedding day!

This shoot was fun and challenging at the same time. The light was a bit grey from heavy overcast skies but that didn’t keep me from finding ways to capture a beautiful and bright session for these two! Their session was at Water’s Edge Nature Center and the area is full of trails and fall foliage just starting to turn. It was the perfect spot for a pup to be included in the shoot. We incorporated Kylie’s baby bump in just a few images but we really wanted the session to focus mostly on just Kylie and Justin.
