{A Rural Iowa Senior Session}
Justin’s senior session marked the start of an excessive heat wave that swept over us the entire last week. Even though the temps were not super high on the day of his shoot, the humidity sky-rocketed, which meant I needed to work quickly to avoid excessive sweating. Thankfully Justin is so easygoing and never complained much, if at all, even when he needed to wear a long sleeve flannel! His session signified everything that is important to Justin, his love for music, sports and the outdoors. We even recreated an image from his dad’s senior photos with a fully restored Dodge Lil Red Express truck. Justin had a shirt custom made to look exactly like his dad’s that read “DODGE BOYS HAVE MORE FUN.”
Justin, a 2024 senior from Bishop Garrigan, loves playing sports, watching movies and playing guitar. In school, he stays busy with football, basketball, track, baseball and national honor society. His plans after high school are undecided.
Justin – Thank you so much for coming to our place and braving the heat! Your many talents amaze me! The most important thing to remember this year is to believe in yourself. You have the skills, the potential, and the resilience to form a path that is all your own. The journey might be unpredictable, but that’s what makes it so exciting! Good luck this year as you begin to create a life that is all your own!
