{A Disco Themed Senior Session}

Disco Cowgirl theme has been on my mind for quite some time for the biggest senior styled shoot of the year and TEAM 24 KILLED it!!! I love how this group is always ready to go for it, whatever crazy ideas I have for posing! My goal for the setup was bright and shiny and, of course, FUN! I wanted the background to emulate a giant disco ball plus adding in major party vibes throughout the entire theme. Overall, it took about 7 hours for total constructing and set up time, which I completely underestimated, but 1000% worth it!! Honestly, I was so sad to tear it all down. Can we have just one more party in there!?!?! HAHA!

As always, it’s my goal to completely pamper my team during the shoot. Prepping for the session, the group took a trip to West Vendee to pick out the most adorable, on-point, outfits and accessories. I knew West Vendee was a PERFECT fit for this theme because they have the cutest selection of glam pieces! Next, some of the group members (for those that wanted to) received spray tans from Glow Algona a couple days before the shoot. On the day of, we started the morning with hair at Innovations Salon & Spa and makeup by the amazing girls at Soma. I love the pop of color, shimmer and dimension they created that matched seamlessly with each outfit. Last, it was back to the studio to eat some pizza, crank up T Swift and start the party! This styled shoot was everything I had envisioned and more, mostly because this group made it so amazing! They are the ultimate hype squad mixed with endless laughter. I wish I could do this every day!

I have to give HUGE shoutouts to the wonderful vendors who helped me put together exactly what I had envisioned! They went above and beyond to bring my ideas to life. We have something so special with this community and I am so thankful to work with other small businesses who are just as passionate at what they do as I am!
