{A Signature White Studio Family Session}

Ahhhh…isn’t my sister’s family just the cutest!!! 😍 I had the pleasure of photographing them last Saturday and we had TONS of fun….with a little bit of chaos mixed in. 🤪 What’s a family photoshoot without a little chaos anyways? Over the years, I’ve learned to embrace the turmoil that family sessions can sometimes bring because {#1} kids have very short attention spans combined with LOTS of energy that’s hard to control and {#2} some of my all time FAVORITE portraits come from a little bit of chaos! Trust me, I know at times it may seem like you are in a constant state of anarchy 😂 with your children on picture day BUT leaning towards keeping expectations low and just having FUN creates a more enjoyable experience for EVERYONE! I fully believe that the REAL life moments, emotions and affection shared between family members should always be front and center. I do love a good “posed-smiling-at-the-camera” portrait BUT how you truly interact with your children and your husband is what I long to capture in your photographs. Emotions, love, life–they are not perfect but they’re incredibly beautiful. They echo within your home walls every day and deserve to be fully represented in your photographs as well.

If you are a past #CBSbride then you may recognize Brandee very well! She helps with all my weddings and is literally the best assistant EVER!!! We work so well as a team and, quite honestly, I don’t know how I would get through wedding days without her! Her entire family (with the exception of Jonathan) are dressed from my studio closet! This option is available to all my clients to help make family session preparations a breeze. Finding coordinating clothing is a huge pain point for many but it doesn’t have to be! I’m here and available to style your family in ways that are comfortable and photograph beautifully! My collection is constantly growing in order to provide a more stress-free experience!

This family is one of the BEST! Living 2.5 hours apart makes it hard to spend more time with one another but when we do get together, we make it count, and that’s what matters most!
