{A Recap of Our July}

Our summer has been one for the books! We’ve been crazy busy doing alllll the fun things! I’m certain almost every day in the month of July was spent in our pool. We sure love our time out there! Liella and Eden are becoming more confident in the water and with their swimming skills. Oren still refuses to get in the pool even after swimming lessons, but he sure loves to spray cold water at us with the sprinkler. 😂

Not only are our days spent in the pool but we have also been enjoying lots of cousin and park time. Both things the kiddos beg for often and summer is the one time when we can enjoy them frequently. This year at Livermore Daze, Joe and Oren got to drive a tractor in the parade. Oren was in seventh heaven! The kiddos even tried out the pedal pulls for the first time. It’s no surprise that Eden went further than Oren. 😂 She’s a tough little girl!

In the middle of the month, we got to experience Warrior Gym in Urbandale for cousin Daelynn’s birthday. If you’ve never been, it’s a gladiator style gym but for children. It was a fun little spot for a birthday party and a great way for the kiddos to work off all the sugar from the cake. Rounding out the end of the month, we spent another weekend camping at Cutty’s. This time around we went to the nature center (didn’t bring my camera for this), the beach and the splash pad. Absolutely ZERO fun is had at Cutty’s with our crew. 🤪

Not only has home life been lively but I have been just as equally busy at work as well! Summer is one of my busiest seasons, but it’s also my favorite season. I LIVE for these core memories being created. I wouldn’t want it any other way! Until next month…
