{Road Trip Themed Senior Session}
I’ve been wanting to do a “Road Trip” themed styled shoot since I finished last year’s spokesmodel styled shoot! I knew my sister-in-law’s Jeep would be perfect for the session and thankfully she held on to it long enough for me to use it! Since I was dying to do two different styled shoots with my girls this year, I decided to split the team up into two different groups. I loved the results and the girls have been just amazing to work with. Plus, it lets me do what I love most two times this year!
As always, it’s my goal to completely pamper my girls during the shoot. Prepping for the session, the girls all received spray tans from Glow Algona a couple days before the shoot. We also picked customized outfits to each girl’s style (but still consistent with the theme of the shoot) complete with full accessories. On the day of, we started the afternoon with hair at Statements Salon where Gail and Kristi even worked in a couple of super cute updos! Next was makeup by the amazing Holly Kile from Studio Hairsay. Holly is so insanely talented! I love how each girl’s look is different but still compliments their skin tones and eyes. Then we headed out to Plum Creek Wildlife Area to work all our magic! We had to pause for a brief moment of sprinkles but we lucked out with the rain skipping around us! I wish I could do this every day, I had SO MUCH fun with these girls!
This session turned out exactly how I had envisioned! I have to give HUGE shoutouts to the wonderful vendors who are the real MVPs in making my visions come to life! They always go above and beyond and working with them all is a breeze. I am so thankful to work with other small businesses in our little communities who are just as passionate at what they do as I am!
