{70’s Themed Rollerskating Senior Session}
Ah! The first spokesmodel styled shoot of the year has come and gone and I am still reeling over it!!!! The theme “70’s styled rollerskating” sparked my interest after seeing Joanna Gaines share on Instagram that she had received a pair of roller skates for Christmas. Of course, Joanna dressed in her super cute 70’s bell bottoms skating around her driveway made me want to emulate something similar with my girls, BUT with my flare added in!
As always, it’s my goal to completely pamper my girls during the shoot. Prepping for the session, the girls all received spray tans from Glow Algona a couple days before the shoot. On the day of, we started the afternoon with hair at Statements Salon and makeup by the amazing Holly Kile from Studio Hairsay. Holly is so insanely talented! I love the pop of color she created that matched seamlessly with each outfit. Next, it was back to Glow to finalize the most adorable, on-point, outfits and accessories. Then we headed out to the streets! Posing in skates proved to be a little difficult to keep still without rolling away, but the girls did fantastic. I wish I could do this every day, I had SO MUCH fun with these girls!
I have to give HUGE shoutouts to the wonderful vendors who helped me put together exactly what I had envisioned! They went above and beyond to bring my ideas to life. I am so thankful to work with other small businesses in our little communities who are just as passionate at what they do as I am!
This has me SO excited for styled shoot #2 in a couple weeks! Stay tuned!
