{A Small Town Iowa Senior Session with Wildflowers, a Ukulele and Books}

I know I say this a lot but you are about to scroll through one of my favorite senior sessions to date! Mainly because I just love Savannah’s unique and beautiful style. She really wanted her senior session to encompass everything that is HER and where she grew up. Senior images that not only show her personality but also shows the main things that have shaped who Savannah is as a person. Savannah loves to read, play the ukulele, and her love for our little hometown and her faith was important for her to incorporate. This CSB Senior Spokesmodel attends Bishop Garrigan High School and is involved in cheer, music, band theater and speech. After graduation, she plans to attend University of Iowa and major in English Literature or Creative Writing.

We started the session out with her STUNNING prom dress that fits her like a glove and screams old Hollywood. It is very “Savannah,” if a dress could represent a person! Haha! Then, we headed out to the football field for a few cheerleading shots. Next, it was off to the old trestle bridge north of Livermore where Savannah proudly played her ukulele in a very cute boho/indie style. After that, we stopped at our church in town for a few quick shots, then it was off to the flower field. I LOVE this field and if you have been following along for awhile you know I shoot out there as much as I can during the peak blooming season. These images are some of my favorites from the entire session! After the flowers, we strolled around downtown Livermore for a few urban setting shots. Last, we finished up in our pasture with Savannah’s favorite books. Whew! What a session! But we got everything we wanted before the sun set!

My favorite thing about Savannah is her bubbly personality. A natural in front of the camera, she’s relaxed, graceful and unapologetically herself. She is always calling herself a “nerd” but I never know what she means by this term. I think she is incredibly cool! She is friendly and kind and her passions are what makes her uniquely beautiful. Savannah, I know that you will never be afraid to be yourself but if I could give you one piece of advice, it would be to look into the mirror and realize just how cool you really are! 💕 “Cool…” “nerd…” what do those words even mean anyways? Savannah, you’re amazing!! 😍
