{Neutral and Baby Blue Newborn Session}

You all probably know my obsession with redheads! 😂😂 So when I met baby Slater I was instantly enamored with him!! His hair almost reminded me of Liella’s when she was a baby! And it has me missing my red hair so much these days. If you didn’t know, I was born a redhead much like Mr. Slater’s but as I grew older the red faded…so much so that it’s almost nonexistent now.  Some people see the red but most don’t. When clients see our family portrait displayed in the studio with Liella’s and Oren’s bright red hair ablaze (or just see me out with Oren) 9 times out of 10 I get asked, “Where does the red hair come from?” You can imagine the looks I get when I say, “From me!” Then I go into the long spiel of how my red has faded over the years. 😂😂 Hard to believe, I know! But, it’s true!

Baby Slater is such a sweetheart, he definitely tugs at my heart strings. He was a fabulous little model and we learned that he loves to be snuggled up with my newborn pillows the best. I don’t think I will ever get over his pouty little lips either! They are just SO PERFECT! I adored getting to know his mama, who is a dermatology nurse, and learning a little bit of her story. And, now, as her story grows further, I’m excited for this sweet little family’s new journey into parenthood. It’s a journey full of twists and turns, joy and anxiety, love and frustration but it’s the most adventurous, rewarding and beautiful journey on earth. My hope is that you embrace it all in it’s full glory. 💕
