{A Jewel Tone Cake Smash Session}

Miss Scarlett is the big ONE! Her one year session proved to be a little tough in the beginning but give this girl some cake and she turns into a real ham! It’s no doubt she loves sweets, giggling and saying “mmm” while she dug right in during the cake smash portion of her shoot! I would say she wins the award for smiliest baby during a cake smash! I had a blast creating a jewel tone theme for Scarlett including another balloon garland. She looks beautiful in emerald!

It’s fun to watch these babies grow throughout the year, but it’s always a little bittersweet to see them graduating my 1 year milestone program. I wish they were little forever! It’s true when they say babies don’t keep and it seems, as the years go by, that time only picks up in speed. Maybe someday I will be photographing her senior portraits, but that day will be here soon, only if I’m careful not to blink.
