{A Snowy Engagement Session in Northern Iowa}
Celebrating the fact that this engagement session actually became a reality! Megan and James originally planned for a fall session but with sickness, we had to reschedule twice. So these two decided to plan for a snow session! We lucked out and had one of the best winter days anyone could ask for! Temps in the upper 20s, no wind and warm sun filled our afternoon. So when these two asked for snow, they got SNOW…10+ inches of it!! We trudge through knee high (at times) drifts and even slid across thin ice where James actually broke through a couple of times, just to get “the shots!” THANKFULLY he was wearing Muck boots and the creek was pretty shallow. Megan and James were amazing the entire shoot and were so trusting of me! They never batted an eye when I asked them to walk across our huge pasture. I am so grateful for them!!! Once you scroll through their beautiful images you’ll know it was worth it too! I can’t wait to celebrate these two in September! Enjoy my favorites from this session, you’re going to love these two as much as I do!
Miss Dixie made an appearance too! Doesn’t her coat have the most beautiful colors?!?!
