{A Recap of Our December}
I can’t believe we are already well into January 2022 and another Christmas season has come and gone! I feel like this season went by so fast this year! Maybe it’s because we were thrown in head first right after we came home from Oren’s hospital stay. So many have asked me how he’s been doing lately and I am happy to report that he has been doing SO WELL!!! We have him on a new medicine routine that has been working great. But when spring arrives will be the ultimate test!
We did alllll the Christmasy things last month! There are a few traditions I love to keep every year and it’s getting a little more fun as the kiddos get older. We spent an ENTIRE day baking! Waaaay too much time spent in the kitchen, in my opinion. 😂 I’m just not a baker, but I do it for the kiddos! 😊 They had a BLAST!!! Liella says it’s her favorite thing to do during Christmas…so, we will continue to bake! Then, we ate breakfast with Santa and cousins. Our cousins weren’t too crazy about Santa (see photo below 😆), but Oren LOVES Santa! As soon as he seen him he ran up and gave him a giant hug. It was the sweetest thing ever! 😍 We made our annual gingerbread house and even got to play in the snow for the one day it existed. 😆 On the big day, Santa brought bikes and we got to enjoy them outside while it was really warm. Oren is still a little apprehensive about his bike! 😆 I’m sure he’ll figure it out soon!
As another year has come and gone, I’m reminded of how fleeting these days are with our littles. Every memory and moment is so precious to me. I started this family portion of my blog so that I could preserve them in some way. It’s my hope that some day our children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and so on will find theses memories just as valuable as I do!
Until next month…
