{Revisiting My Favorite Wedding Portraits of the Year}

Saved the best for last this year! The last couple of weeks I shared my “Best of Engagements” and “Best of Seniors” for 2021 and today I am rounding out my recaps with my favorite! Weddings!! So, if you thought the “Best of Seniors” post was long…buckle up!! Haha! I LOVE going back through my wedding galleries every year. There are so many beautiful moments that unfold at every single wedding that I often forget some of my favorite photos even existed!! Looking back through my galleries and comparing the beautifully posed portraits vs. the natural, emotional moments always gives me little a reality check. It reminds me that they are both EQUALLY as important. It can be easy to only share the “pretty” pictures (i.e. details, portraits, bridal party, etc.) – but some of my all-time favorite images in this post are the emotional moments that I know my couples are going to cherish forever.

My wedding photography took me ALL OVER the state this year: Spirit Lake, Emmetsburg, of course Algona, Clear Lake, Newton and Nashua. It was a CRAZY year because Covid really made things interesting at times but, at the same moment, I’m just so thankful that weddings are even a thing this year! I love my job and I love celebrating love so much! Even though our personal lives have gotten crazy intense the latter half of the year, 2021 was still the most REWARDING year yet for CB Studio. I hope you enjoy all of my wedding faves from the entire year of 2021!!!
