{A Senior Session in Emmetsburg, IA}

We started Laney’s senior session with her cow, Queen, and her pig, Jeff! She recently came back from showing at the state fair and they were ready to go! She took me out to this beautiful little park along the Des Moines River next to her home and the views were gorgeous!! Leaves were already starting to turn and falling to the ground! Say what!?!?! We were lucky enough to sneak a little bit of the fall look into her session! Next, we headed to an adorable beach spot in Emmetsburg along Five Island Lake with a train trestle bridge running through. At this spot is where I captured some of my favorite images of Laney’s entire session! Then we headed to a dying wildflower field, where only Laney can make dying flowers look gorgeous! We rounded out the session at the E-Hawks softball field during blue hour where we were able to catch a little bit of the moon!

When Laney is not showing animals she is active in FFA, cheer, dance and lead pitcher for the softball team. After high school she plans to study agriculture education. Laney is also involved in my 2022 CBS Senior Spokesmodel Team and I’m so thankful she is on the team! She has strikingly beautiful features and her long hair gives me all the Pocahontas vibes! During her entire session I just wanted to belt out Colors of the Wind, especially with the fall look we were starting to see! Don’t worry, I spared her the misery! HAHA!! 🤣🤣 Oh Laney, thank you so much for taking me to these charming locations and being willing to climb up a trestle bridge for some amazing shots! I hope you will always embrace the beauty that is uniquely you!
