{An Emmetsburg High Farm Session}

When I first arrived on Rachel’s farm for her senior session, she said, “Welcome to the zoo!” With chickens, geese, turkeys, potbelly pigs and even alpacas, she wasn’t far off on her comparison! But I LOVE the eclectic variety of animals they are raising! Rachel is a true farm girl and enjoys showing her chickens at the fair. As the current reigning 2021 Palo Alto County Fair Queen, it’s so easy to see her love for animals! Rachel stays extra busy between showing at fairs for 4-H and life-guarding at the pool. She’s also involved in several activities in school, football and wrestling cheer, FFA, student council, choir, show-choir, National Honor Society just to name a few.

After taking some photos with her chickens, Jackson the pup and Fauna the alpaca, we headed to a gorgeous flower field where we took some of my favorite images of the session! She wore the cutest off-the-shoulder dress! We have the crazy haze from wildfires in Canada to thank for the soft lighting that evening. It was almost magical! We finished the session at the football field for some cheer images. Isn’t she just the cutest!?!? I’m so excited to photograph her again in September for her second session!

Rachel–I adore you! I loved getting to know you and your fun personality! You are so graceful in front of the camera and I can’t wait to hang out with you again really soon! Enjoy all my faves from the first session!
