{A Flower Field and Farm Engagement Session in Central Iowa}

Eeeekkk!!! These two are getting MARRIED and I just can’t contain my excitement!!!! They are literally the sweetest couple EVERRRR!! Luke finally asked the big question (we’ve all been patiently waiting for) this spring while taking some graduation photos together! The wedding planning is fully underway and let’s just say that I am so excited to be shooting at The Conservatory in Des Moines next August! We had the most magical night last weekend for their engagement session with TONS of glowy light to work with plus endless wildflower fields with epic views! To say I’m obsessed is an understatement! Jadi’s family farm makes for some beautiful portrait backdrops! Jadi is no stranger to my camera! HAHA! She was my first ever senior spokesmodel and one of our stops during her senior session was the farm location of her old childhood home before a tornado destroyed it several years ago. An old stone wall and rustic cattle shoot still stands today and makes for some gorgeous images. So we headed out there again last weekend but this time with Luke. Such a sweet and sentimental location! I know her family will treasure these images for a lifetime!

Jadi & Luke — I CAN NOT wait for you two to start your lives together! If I had to give any marriage advice it would be to always stay committed to one another and keep open, honest communications. Marriage is not always easy, there will be many times when it will be SO hard but if you promise to stay committed to each other then the good times will far outweigh the bad.
