{Plus a Lifestyle Family Session in Algona, Iowa}

Baby Addy is 6 months old!! To celebrate, the Bolligs invited me out to their beautiful and peaceful home for a family session! It was a photographer’s dream! White and neutral colors everywhere along with large windows to let in all the light. I know very well how quickly the baby stage goes by so I took a few shots of Addy’s adorable nursery as a keepsake for her mama. Peep the beautiful framed display over the changing table! 😉 My favorite images are the natural interaction ones! I just love the connection you can feel between loved ones. Even when the entire session may feel like chaos, there is still so much beauty in it. Seeing it is hard. Being a mama of two three year olds and a six year old, plus a small business owner, my life is the definition of pure chaos! But this is such a good reminder to search for all the good that is hiding within, just waiting to be cherished.

At the end of the session, we treated Addy to a milk bath complete with orange and lemon slices. She was much more interested in eating the slices (she loved the lemon!) then she was smiling for the camera! But she had no problem sharing with Toby! She is such a sweet little doll!
