{A Recap of Our May 2021}
It’s already nearing the end of June and I am finally putting together our May adventures! That’s how crazy our lives have been lately! But I would never change a thing! May is always a very busy month for us with Joe’s birthday and our anniversary, but this year we also had double graduations! Our nephew Jacob and niece Michaela graduated high school! I was starting MY senior year in high school when Michaela was born and now she is off to USD to conquer the world. There is a photo out there somewhere (wish I could dig it up) of Joe and I holding Michaela as a tiny newborn right before we were headed out to a date night. It’s always so mind-boggling to me how fast the years go! You can check out her senior session here! Plus her PROM session!
This month I purchased the new Canon R6 and tested it out with some play time with the kiddos. They are always so willing to take a picture at this stage and I am soaking it all in now because I know there will come a time when they won’t be so happy about it. I also attended a couple of styled wedding shoots this month with one of them being a part creator in, which has always been a goal of mine. I’m sure you’ve seen of the work on my social media and blog. Some of my best work! The talent and imagination behind styled shoots are amazing! It’s so fun to let your creativity go with absolutely no pressure attached. I can’t wait to attend more in the future!
The kiddos have been living their best lives so far this summer spending almost every waking moment outside. Liella got to attend her first friend birthday party with some girls from school. They had a blast! We also celebrated Liella’s last day of kindergarten. Say what!?!? I keep asking for time to slow down but all it does is just speed up! Her smile has been looking a little different this month because she lost her two front teeth (finally)! They only been loose since last November! 🤣 I secretly adore her new smile!!
Well, friends…that’s it for now! Until next month…
Our anniversary gifts to each other! We like to keep it simple! Joe knows how much I like fresh picked wildflowers!!
