{A Newborn Session}

I swear it was just yesterday when I photographed Emerald for her senior portraits! She trusted me with her senior session and then again with her custom branding images for Bare Beauty Studio. And now with her precious new baby boy, Braxton! He is so flippin adorable!! Being fellow business owners we both understand what it takes to keep a brand going and how much of ourselves we put into our businesses. Being a mama is so similar! Businesses and babies are huge time commitments. Both have long days, there’s no off switch. The two will do whatever they can to get through the day, getting our hands dirty, there’s never enough time to do it all. Multitasking becomes a HUGE asset to mothers and entrepreneurs alike. Neither are ever bored. It takes passion, patience, a certain disposition, determination and perseverance to succeed as a mom and business owner. The list can go on and on. There is no doubt that both are the most challenging things we’ll ever face in our lives. So Emerald, I know you got this mama thing in the bag!!! Your experience as a business owner will take you incredibly far! But the best part of it all is witnessing the fruits of your labor in raising children and growing a business. We have the opportunity to change lives, our own lives, our children’s lives and others around us. It makes every bit of the journey worth it! And it fills our hearts!
