{A Recap of Our January 2021}

January kept us busy with birthdays and basement! Another year has rolled around and another year older for our littles, 6 and 3. We are so fortunate to have Liella and the twins’s birthday only 6 days apart, so the end of January is usually full of lots of presents and cake. We typically host a small celebration with just grandparents, but because of Covid, only my parents joined in this year. But the kiddos had a blast regardless! The joy on all three of their faces during these days never gets old. Plus my mom makes the most beautiful cakes! Rainbow and chocolate was the request this year!

We have been working full steam ahead on our basement project and I am happy to report that carpet will be getting installed next week!!!! It’s been a long project but I can’t tell you how happy I am to see it coming to a close soon! There is a tiny sneak peek of the progress below! I’ll be sure to update more next month with lots of before and afters. I have been working on creating a “year” book for 2020 of all of our family adventures and it’s crazy to look back at exactly 1 year ago we were just starting to put up the stud walls! And now we’ve come this far! The girls are beyond excited for their very own rooms! And mama’s excited to have her house back after a major toy invasion! 🤣 I know dad will be glad to have his freedom back from honey-do projects! 🤣 BUT after this I’m on to my next project! Remodeling our camper!!! 😆😆
