{A Recap of Our December 2020}
December was a busy month for us! We did alllll the things!! The inside and outside of our house received a Christmas makeover, we made TONS of Christmas cookies and decorated them with cousins, built and adorned a gingerbread house, and thanks to my studio neighbors, Taffe Wellness Center, we even got to see Santa and sit on his lap! Eden and Oren were soooo thrilled! They didn’t even hesitate to tell him exactly what they wanted for Christmas! And, of course, we got to spend Christmas day with our families! By far one of the best months of the year! Eden was living her best life cutting and decorating all the cookies, while Oren, on the other hand, just preferred to eat all the goodies instead haha! Liella prepared everything for Santa on Christmas Eve and was so shocked to see he had eaten some of her cookies she left for him.
I totally missed some shots of our outdoor Christmas set up with my “big camera” but I got plenty of photos of all the inside decor. I love, LOVE to decorate! If I wasn’t a photographer, I would be a wedding planner or home interior designer. I’m obsessed with our home during Christmastime and I’m so lucky my mama is always crafting beautiful Christmas decor for me to match my style. I love every single piece! Our basement project started hanging drywall at the beginning of the month and we are inching closer to a finished renovation! Then, I’ll have a whole new level to decorate! To say I’m excited is an understatement!!!
Our December days were filled with many messes and memories. For someone who loves perfectly placed items and magazine-worthy rooms, after having children it’s been a struggle to accept mess. But as the years go by I have been learning to embrace the chaos, because within that chaos is pure joy, and it’s within that joy that gives my heart purpose.
Until next month…
