{A Recap of Our November 2020}
It’s a month I wish I had taken more photos. I’m not sure why but I just didn’t pick up the camera as much in November. We were SUPER busy working on our basement getting ready for sheetrock. Basically every free moment we had was spent in the basement. We didn’t let the kiddos play around like normal because we were installing plumbing and electrical and we thought it was best to not risk any possible injuries in the chaos. Some moments I missed last month was papa’s birthday and more Thanksgiving fun. But it’s healthy for photographers to sometimes put the camera down. 😊
We spent the warm days riding the 4-wheeler and Liella is getting pretty good at it. Joe has the speed governed so she can stay at one, slow pace. We decorated the Christmas tree a week before Thanksgiving and the bottom was well adorned! 🤣 Thanksgiving marked one year sickness free for the kiddos!!!! Not even a runny nose! Like, what!?!?! How does that even happen?? Even when I tested positive for Covid the kids were still symptom free! We’re feeling extra thankful for that this year! We’ve been binge watching Christmas movies for a couple of weeks now and our favorite is The Grinch. I think it’s the bright colors and vivid lighting that draws my three to the cartoon version. Well, let’s be honest, mom loves it too! 😜 You know I always appreciate bright, beautiful lighting! Our family decided to lay low this year because of Covid so we spent Thanksgiving with one set of cousins. For the first time ever, my sister Amber and I cooked an entire Thanksgiving meal! Ok, in full transparency, Joe was in charge of the meat. 🤪 The meal was delicious! Anymore these days it’s a struggle to get a good group photo with cousins, but outtakes are hilarious!! Plus playing dress-up was a favorite with the girls this holiday season! 😉 We spent the last day of the fun weekend with Joe’s family and it was another moment I wish I hadn’t put the camera down. 😢
