{A Cozy Kitchen Mock Engagement Session}
Since Thanksgiving is tomorrow I thought it was only fitting to share these images of Dustin and Jenna in their beautiful kitchen! Jenna LOVES her kitchen, (How could she not? It’s gorgeous!!) so I thought it would be so fun to photograph them doing what they do best, hanging out in their kitchen! Keeping it casual, I wanted to focus on all the cozy vibes! This makes we want to snuggle up in front of the fire with the softest blanket ever and a cup of coffee!
I know these days we are all staying home more which means we are forced to look at our kitchens all day. I don’t know about you but my kitchen has started to look boring and messy. I hate doing the dishes so there is a constant sink full. My organization is non-existent now with kids and clutter builds up on the counters just as fast as I try to clear it. Plus I’m always trying to dodge a handful of land mines (aka toys) that are scattered around the floor. But this Thanksgiving I want to encourage you to fall in love with your kitchen again. Despite the chaos and disorder, some of our best memories have been made in the kitchen. It’s where the school artwork and fun crafts are displayed. It’s where all the great conversations and laughs have taken place. It’s where I make a ton of memories with Liella because she loves to help cook. It’s where our friends and family love to congregate. And it’s where all the best dance parties have occurred. So despite 2020’s endless game of disappointment, take this holiday to look past it all and focus on all the good things that we have been blinded by from turmoil. Find new memories and live within them.
