{Engagement Session at Lost Island Nature Center}

I met up with Jenna and Brady for their engagement session at Lost Island Nature Center in Ruthven last weekend and I knew right away they were the perfect #CBScouple! They are SUPER fun and very comfortable in front of the camera! I can tell they have a blast together and their affection for one another runs deep. They love to travel and look forward to snowmobiling trips out west every year. They are high school sweethearts just like Joe and I and I adore how they look at each other! Plus Brady pulled off the most epic proposal by getting down on one knee in the middle of a mountain hike at Estes Park! Like WHAT!?!? How could any girl say no?!?! Jenna shared her images from the proposal with me and it was beautiful!

Brady and Jenna’s engagement session was a little chilly but the light was so magical. I’ve never shot at Lost Island Nature Center but it is definitely a must see! It’s gorgeous out there with the lake and the beautiful tree lined paths! Even though the atmosphere was perfect, I’m pretty sure Brady and Jenna thought I was the most clumsiest photographer ever!! 😂😂 Almost half way through the session I tripped backwards over my camera bag and fell right on my tushy! Literally flat on my back! 🤣🤣 And if you think that wasn’t bad enough, towards the end of the shoot I walked through a patch of mini cockleburs and was completely covered from my waist down to my feet! 🤦‍♀️ How embarrassing!! I promise I am not that clumsy! Just only sometimes. 😉 😉😂😂 At least these guys had an amazing sense of humor about it!

This couple is adorable and I had a blast getting to know them and laughing with them during their session. I cannot wait to hang out with them again next August!!! Enjoy my faves from their evening engagement session.
