{A Newborn Session Featuring Thin Blue Line Police Support}

September 11th is a special day for Miss Oaklyn’s daddy who is a police officer in Garner, Iowa. But now it holds an even more special meaning to him because this September 11th was the day Miss Oaklyn made her grand entrance into the world. What an amazing day!!!! I was thrilled to incorporate this into their session yesterday! I know that police support is such a controversial topic these days but I am proud to honor my clients requests and integrate the things that mean the most to them in their sessions. They deserve it! Spencer works tirelessly for his community and he deserves to be proud of his work and contributions. He also deserves to proudly instill his work ethic and integrity within his daughter.

Oaklyn is such a gorgeous babe with beautiful, long eyelashes and pouty little lips! I think she looks like her mama! 😉 We dressed her in mama’s favorite color and daddy’s work gear. She’s so calm, laid back and extra smiley. Mama says she only gets up about 2 times a night!!! Such a good baby! Taylor’s got this mommy thing in the bag! She’s such a natural at it! I was impressed with her mommy skills, she’s gentle and confident. I’m so excited to spend the next year photographing Oaklyn’s milestones and getting to know the Dales more!
