{Fall 2020 Fashion Trends For Engagement Photos}
It’s no secret that I love fashion! It’s a second hobby of mine and sometimes a disaster to my pocket book! HAHA! Every season I LOVE to compile the latest fashion for outfit inspo for my brides planning engagement sessions. What to wear is one of the hardest parts when planning any photo session and it’s my job to make it just a little bit easier. I want you to feel comfortable, stylish and LOVE what you are wearing, all while matching with your main man. Which, let’s face it, finding something for your guy to wear can sometimes be harder than finding something for yourself. This fall I’ve come up with some super cute and fun outfit combos that are portrait worthy and hitting all the latest trends. I’ve even pulled a few examples from one of my favorite shops, Cultivate Boutique for quick and easy shopping!
- A cream sweater is the quintessentially fall look and even better when it’s in dress form! Super comfortable and flattering, pair it with a tan colored cardigan and knee-high boots or a carmel moto jacket with a mid-length dress. Adding a flannel under his sweater adds for a little dimension and pop of color.
2. This eggshell colored BB Dakota dress from Cultivate Boutique is giving me all the romantic fall vibes! I LOVE the fluttered sleeves! It pairs nicely with a button down and khakis for your guy.
3. Fall screams Boho vibes all season long! Intricate details that are synonymous with the Boho trend adds so much texture to your portraits.
4. Corduroy all the way!!! Pairing a corduroy skirt with a jacket for him is perfect for the season.
5. Floral and geometric patterned Boho dresses are very on trend like this Free People dress from Cultivate Boutique! The flowing skirt can create some fun and dramatic portraits.
6. If you love floral and geometric but want to tone it down a little, muted colors are always popular in the fall.
7. Dress it up a bit with a knit sweater, pleated midi skirt and pearl headband. You can even take this look into winter! And a sports jacket for him to complete the look.
8. If you want to add some more color, Navy is a classic fall staple. Plus, how cute and feminine are those puffed sleeves?!?! If he’s wearing a large plaid pattern, keep it simple with a solid color for yourself.
9. Wrap dresses are super flattering and comfortable! Long sleeves are perfect for the cooler temps.
10. This look seriously has ALLLL my heart eyes!!!!!! I love the color, the dress length, the pairing cardigan and those SHOES!!!!! I found a similar dress from Cultivate Boutique! And now I’m running to go buy it HAHA!
11. Blush pink continues to be super popular and super romantic for engagement portraits. This flowy dress screams dreamy fairy tale to me!
12. Your man isn’t into color, no worries! Grey is very trendy right now and I love the little pop of pink in the floral. Plus, wearing a hat can add so many fun poses!
