{A Royal Blue and Yellow Rustic Wedding at Call Park, Algona, Iowa}
I’ve been waiting for this day all summer long! Brea and Travis were married in the same exact park and reception venue as Joe and I, and I was excited to somewhat relive our day. But this time I was behind the camera. Even though I’ve known this family since high school, I was extremely honored that Brea and Travis chose ME to photograph such an important and intimate day. After several years together, they finally tied the knot and even though the heat and humidity was on high, it was really a beautiful day. We started the day getting ready at Bliss Salon and then getting dressed at Brea’s grandma’s house. She looked stunning in her Essence of Australia gown and I’m obsessed with the bridesmaid’s hoop bouquets. Then we met Travis at Call Park for the first look and portraits. I love that Brea and Travis wrote their own vows and it was so sweet when Travis teared up a little while he recited his. I could really feel his love for Brea! After the ceremony it was off to the VFW in Algona for cocktail hour and reception. The one thing that I loved the most about the day is how much Brea and Travis’s family and friends love and care for them. Despite being in the middle of a pandemic, several of their friends and family came and showed their support for such a beautiful and rare relationship. You can’t stop love! Brea and Travis, I am wishing you 100 more years of love and happiness! Enjoy reliving your day through my eyes!
