{A Pasture Field Senior Session in Rural Iowa}

My niece Michaela is a SENIOR!!! Say what?!?! I’m in major tears right now! BRB!

Michaela was born just as I was starting my senior year and now she will be starting her senior year in a couple months. Why do the years go by so quickly! At the end of this post I included some of my first photos of her from what feels like a billion years ago. That little blonde haired, blue-eyed baby girl is all grown up now. 🙁 Michaela, as a baby and toddler, was often the subject of my photoshoots when I was in college and every year since I started my business. She is so graceful and nails that serious look like it’s her job! I LOVE her retro, 70’s vibe style, she always has the cutest outfits plus I love her love for vintage vinyl records. The clothing choices she made for her senior session had alllll the creative juices flowing in my head. Currently obsessing over the yellow converse with that cute floral dress!

Michaela attends Algona High and is active in Quiz Bowl. In her spare time she loves to listen to music, watch movies, read and play video games. After high school she plans to attend the University of South Dakota and doctor in Neuroscience. Her end goal is to be in research.

Michaela–I have no doubt that your future will be so big. I know you will excel in college and I’m excited to see you settle into the path that was destined for you. I know you will change the world with your knowledge, uniqueness and kind heart.
