{A Sitter Session in the Covid-19 Pandemic Portrait Project}
If you missed my blog post from last Friday, I announced a new portrait project I started as a way to reduce tension and anxiety that has been brought about with the current coronavirus pandemic that has sweep not only our country, but, also the world. For every single one of my portrait sessions that has been rescheduled or canceled, instead of being bummed and miserable, I decided to photograph it anyways, but replace my subjects with toilet paper! There is no doubt that toilet paper is the iconic symbol of this coronavirus pandemic! So what better replacement than a fluffy roll of Angle Soft! Haha! Today, meet Baby Rona (coRONAvirus if you’re a little slow to the game š )! She is absolutely beautiful in her dress and bonnet! She was the best baby EVER at sitting still for her ENTIRE sitter session! Didn’t make a peep! š
The last two weeks have been, by far, the most challenging time for me, having to adjust to working from home with 3 little hoodlums running around. At the same time, looking at my business in a whole new perspective, something that hardly any business owner has ever had to do until now. I’ve had to get really creative in a service based business that relies heavily on social interaction in a world where socializing has paused for the time being. All the while, worrying about the future of CB Studio. If your anxiety is at an all time high or you’re worried about the health of your family and friends or you are unsure about the future of your job or business, I encourage you to follow along! My goal is to bring a smile to your face! And maybe one day I will be back to photograph that smile! š
