{A 1 Year Birthday Session}

I can’t believe these boys are 1!!!! The first year is always the fastest! They are just the cutest in their matching outfits and it’s so fun to see their different personalities starting to develop! Being a mom is never easy but throw in two at the same time and you get double the hard work. I have always been told that having twins first is easier then having a singleton and then having twins second, because you don’t know any different when you first become a mom. You’re doing EVERYTHING for the first time, only times 2! But if you’ve had one child before twins, you have expectations on what the baby stage should be like. Since there are two now, it’s completely different then the first time around and double the work. Not to mention a third child to take care of! I only have one experience to relate to so it’s hard for me to compare. But, there are a few things I have learned that, I feel, give me the upper hand in having twins second. Maybe I should write a separate blog post some day?? Regardless, no matter how many children you have, whatever order they are in, or even whatever health conditions they have, being a mom is tough, probably the hardest job we’ll ever have!

I know Melissa is doing an extraordinary job as a twin mom! She loves them both and that’s all it takes to be an amazing mom! Blaine and Cole are happy, healthy and they looooove cake!! They both completely demolished their cakes during their cake smash, eating it by the fist-fulls!  We also got the biggest smiles of the day covered with blue frosting! It’s safe to say their sweet tooth is in full working order! Happy First Birthday Blaine and Cole!!!! The fun is only just beginning! Wait until they start walking HAHAHA!!!

Blaine says “Hey, were brothers! We share everything!” Haha!!!!
