{A 1 Year Sitter Session}

It’s hard to believe this little buddy is 1! It feels just like yesterday I was walking into the hospital to take his very first portraits only just a day old at a Fresh 48 session! And one of those portraits happened to be featured on The Bump! Read about it here. Bowen was famous right out of the womb haha!

Bowen is not much of a big smile-r. It took a lot of work to get little grins out of him BUT I happened to capture quite a few of them! He loves to stand so we quickly realized that was the key to get a few smiles out of him. I remember Liella was the same way when she was a baby. She was such a happy baby but she was always much to busy to stop for a smile. Heck! I didn’t even hear her laugh until she was 9 months old! Haha! I can’t help but look at these images and see so much of Bowen’s older brother, Jackson, in him! And those curls!!!!! Awww!! *Swoon*

Bowen loved my vintage sled! I think I got the best smile of the day with him sitting in it! We finished the session with an adorable Christmas cake smash which Bowen wasn’t too crazy about. But still adorable nevertheless! Babies make the silliest faces so I shared a few of Bowen’s and he’s got some good ones!

Oh Bowen–You don’t need to have big flashy smiles to warm my heart! Your happy eyes say it all! I hope you always keep the joy in those eyes and I know there will come a day where you won’t be able to stop smiling! Happy Birthday buddy!
