{A Newborn Session}

Mr. Ryker came in very bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for his newborn session. He was so awake and alert majority of the session but so calm and relaxed at the same time. I got some great open eye shots! It took a little work and finesse but I finally got him to fall into a deep sleep for a short time. But I am really thankful for his awake time because it gave me the opportunity to talk more with his mama, Amanda, and get to know her. She says he looks just like daddy. But the sweetest part of the morning is when Ryker’s uncle stopped, before we got started, to see him for the very first time! It was such a precious moment and next time for sure I will get my camera out! A little disappointed that I didn’t think of it at the time!

Amanda–Oh this time goes by so quickly but oh so slow at the same time. We all say to enjoy it and take your time but also RELIVE it often. Take the time to look back through all the images and videos that you keep of him so it’s always fresh in your mind just how amazing he is! Thank you for bringing him into my life and I’m so excited to watch him grow!!
