{A Family Session in Algona, IA}

I just adore this family! Amber is one of the sweetest moms I know and Caden always, ALWAYS has a smile on his face even when it’s 30* and snowing! I know fall is Amber’s favorite time of year so I had to chose a location that was epic! Something that would blow her out of the park! And I hope I did this time! We had such a short time outside before it became too cold for Caden to be out and then we headed into the studio for a few shots. I have this rustic, wooden ladder that I love to use as a prop in which Caden’s age is perfect for. But, of course, he would rather climb on the ugly industrial step ladder I use to get a little higher angle when shooting. For some reason ALL the kids love this ladder! And they prefer it over the cute wood one. So, needless to say, we took some images with it. I couldn’t say good-bye to these images because Caden’s expressions are just the best!! Even though he is holding on to the top of the ugly ladder. Insert rolling eyes. Haha!

Amber–Hold tight to these moments! I know you’re busy! When they are little we are SO busy! But they say when kids get older moms are just as busy, if not busier. I guess we will find out together! So take in these moments with everything that you’ve got and never let go of these days!

So glad Caden is still making this face! Love it!!
