{A Newborn Session}

Baby Tristan is the miraculous and brilliant gift given to the Thompson’s after their storm. A true rainbow baby! After enduring 4 miscarriages, they are now finally able to hold and snuggle the beautiful creation that God has given them and what they have longed for in 4 long years. At over 9lbs this little bundle is so darling and squishy! And cute as a button to boot!

When Lili first emailed me and had explained how her and her husband waited 4 years for Tristan I instantly knew how she would feel once she would bring her first child into the world. Joe and I waited 4 years, as well, for us to be blessed with Liella and the feeling of holding your child after longing and praying for many years is indescribable. We immediately formed a connection over the hardships in our lives. I know it’s crazy to think that something so difficult and depressing in our lives can actually bring people closer and allow us cope and heal TOGETHER. Every infertility journey is so different yet we are all so connected by the strife. The painful feelings, awkward conversations with others that don’t understand and even inside jokes are just a few things that people who struggle with infertility share together. After having lived through all of this, I try to make a conscious effort in helping other women know they are not alone in their journey and that you will always have a shoulder to lean (or cry) on.

Lili–This new, exciting phase in your life will be so rewarding! You will have such an appreciation for the small things unlike no other. The 4 long years was worth it because you’re ready and your heart is more prepared now then it ever was before. Keep all the little moments close to your heart and never forget what it took to get here!
