{A Children Session}
Today is Gage’s 3rd birthday! So to celebrate we went out to his favorite place for his portrait session, his family’s dairy farm. So fitting because June is National Dairy Month! I had a blast learning a little bit about the farm and capturing Gage in the wild in his natural habitat. We spent some time with the cows and even cuddled a calf in the corn stalk bales. Gage is so silly and crazy that I didn’t even realize it until I started editing his session that I caught his tongue sticking out in EVERY. SINGLE. POSE! Haha! Love it! It’s hard to believe he is already THREE! I swear it was just yesterday we were photographing his newborn portraits. He’s getting taller every year. His blue eyes are getting brighter and his cheeks rosier. And he’s looking more and more like his older brother Nash. Gage even had to show his support for the West Bend Wolverines just like Nash did during his 3 year old session at CB Studio. I just love that little jersey and helmet! I know Gage admires his daddy, who works at the dairy, with a lot of love. During the hour that I spent with him he kept saying, “Where my daddy is?” So cute!
Oh Gage, I hope you always keep some of that spunk the older you grow! But maybe take it a little easier on your mama. 😉 Your wonder and joy for the farm is inspiring and I hope you carry that with you wherever you go. I’m sure your daddy needs a couple of boys to share his legacy with.
Can’t wait to see your baby sis Alivia next month!
Much Love, Carissa
