{A Sitter Session}
Miss Oaklee was rocking the “mean muggin” face pretty consistently when her sitter session first started. Granted, we were outside on a bit of a windy day so, of course, she wasn’t too excited about that. But when we got to the studio portion she still couldn’t quite shake her somber look. I pulled out all my tricks and still no huge smiles…until…we started tickling her with a long floral pick. She then busted out a couple of gigantic smiles but quickly returned to her “mean muggin” norm. Oh but aren’t those smiles just darling?!?! And those baby blues!!! Totally worth it even if we only got just a few.
Oaklee is the spitting image of her mama and just as sweet too! So what’s the best way to showcase a little sweetie? Well with pink lemonade and cherries on top, of course! When babies first start sitting is my all-time favorite age because they can sit up and can start to see the world a little bit more. They are generally more happy and love to play. And the best part is they can’t crawl yet!!
Miss Oaklee, I hope you take in this whole wonderful world with awe and joy. I hope your beautiful smile always remains sweet and never turns sour. And mama, I hope you take in all of this favorite stage with excitement. It will last only but a second so savor it up as much as you can!
Much Love,
Carissa
