{A Mommy and Me Mini Session}
As a mama (and a photographer), I am always pulling out my camera to take photos of the kiddos. Aren’t most moms?!?! Lots of times the images contain daddy as well, whenever he is snuggling them or playing with them. But hardly ever do I get into the frame. Dad just isn’t as quick to pull out the camera so many times the precious moments I spend with my littles go undocumented. That’s why I HAD to offer a limited edition mini session with moms and their babies. I wanted it to be classic and timeless so opted for simple black and white images. This way moms didn’t have to worry about finding matching clothes for everyone. But mostly, I wanted to focus on the love and emotion between moms and their little minis.
Can you believe this first beautiful mama is a doctor! Oh, and dad is a doctor too! Her laid back personality makes her super easy to talk to, so much so that I feel like we’ve been life long friends! Eleanor and Louisa are so fortunate to have this successful and caring woman to look up to.
This next mama has the patience of a saint! And with 4 small children to care for, tolerance is a must. I just love photographing this crew and their incredibly beautiful eyes! They definitely get it from their mom!
Miss Hannah, just know that these days with small children are short…and crazy. Breathe it all in because one day there will be silence in your halls and you will long to hear the patter of little feet and deafening shrills. Ok…maybe not deafening shrills. But just know that this time is incredibly precious and priceless.
This last mama is special. She is incredibly beautiful inside and out. She is extremely comfortable in her own skin. Her outlook on life and her body figure is something I wish for every woman out there. She knows these moments are quickly fading and she isn’t going to wait until she can lose 5 pounds first. That baby girl, that is about to be born, will grow up with the self-confidence that many woman only dream of. All because of you, Tristen! And I can’t wait to meet her!
Much Love,
Carissa
