Billy is probably the happiest baby EVER! I have to brag about him a little bit because he’s just so perfect! He came to the studio the morning of his session having woken up extra early and had no morning nap before his 11:30 session time. So, I know what you’re probably thinking (and especially if you’re a mom), “this is going to be a disaster!” BUT Billy delivered to the fullest extent! All smiles and giggles his entire session with not a single little fuss.  I think we were done in under 45 minutes with 3 outfit changes and threw in a couple family poses. This CBS Babe is the dream baby to photograph.

I asked Billy’s mom, Kaycee, to let me in on what Billy is up to these days and what his favorite things are. This is what she had to say:

Billy loves to sit by himself and scoot around on his butt. He rolls both from front to back and back to front, but gets mad when he ends up on his stomach. He is starting to talk with repeating sounds (ma, ma, ma) and he is trying to figure out how to stand. He will scoot over to the coffee table in the living room and hold onto the side and try to pull himself up, but he is not strong enough to get himself all the way up by himself yet. He LOVES eating baby food (so far his favorites have been bananas and peas) and then after he eats he gets to splash in the bathtub. He has absolutely NO fear and will dive after his rubber duck in the bath tub, or try to dive off my lap after one of his toys he wants. His favorite toys are a rattle we call “bug” and a stuffed horse that has a mirror on one foot, a shaker on one foot, a teether on one foot, and a stuffed fourth foot (we call him clop clop). He absolutely loves to bounce, and if we put him in his doorway bouncer, he is entertained for a long time (as long as he can see someone–he’s a show off 🙂 ). We got really lucky with Billy. He is such an easy, happy-go-lucky baby. He giggles and smiles and pretty much wins everyone over with a look. He also sleeps through the night and has since he was 2 months old.
